wicklow-wexford beach

People:me and young davey
Duration:7 till 10.30

Tide:rising

Weather:very very windy

Bait:all sorts

Rigs:1 hooked clipped

Results:me 1 bass, 1 smoothy, 1 whitting, davey 1 dog




Report:
having just got a new mti 300 and a new 525mag extra i was dying to give them a go, the rod feels lovely great to cast with ,great bite detection very happy after the loss of my old zippy there was a lot of weed in close so all my casts were out as far as i could get,, young davey was using a slosh with 20lb straight thru so he was not getting as far as me at about nine i caught a bass reconed about 7lb i could be totally wrong , then at 9.30 caught a smoothy, at 10 i got a small whitting all my fish were caught on lug tipped with rag davey got his dog on crab(frozen)

Well done buddy, but you missed out on a mini whiting fest in Bray Harbour :oops: :oops: . Nice way to christen your new rod, which im sure we're not going to hear you boasting about :roll: :roll: .(much :lol: :lol: )
