People:me and mick met up with patk and figs later on

Duration:10 till 1

Tide:low at 12.30

Weather:showery

Bait:

Rigs:plugs

Results:1 bass




Report:went to the mark with high expectations, after all the rain last nite and the wind whipping up the weed the water was well coloured and lots of slimey weed :evil: . fished anyways not a tap for first 40 minutes then a tap on 1 plug 5 minutes later i had a great take and fight off a nice bass weighting in at 8lb11oz my p.b. on lure :D :D

hi pat it was a dexter wigglestick , have all the the other high tech stuff but this plug has been the most effective for me so far this season, it has a tendency to almost swim like a popper with the right retrieve

Well done Seanie, that's a great bass. You did well to get that with the wind and weed. Your perserverence was well rewarded.
I had a look at Cork Harbour yesterday lunch time when I was digging some rag, the water was very coloured and there was a strong breeze so I didn't even bother having a cast.
Then went fishing last night and all I could manage were 4 dogfish, a small conger and about two tons of weed :twisted: :twisted:
My arms still ache from hauling it in.
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)

water was manky mind you i wouldnt mind 4 doggies and a conger but keep the weed :lol:
