Ah the joys of Macky bashing !
I know a guy who got a treble in his eye lid while out for some macks.
You would need a Kevlar suit at some of the locations round here when they are in !

I heard of a way to remove one using a bit of string or mono or twine and requires another person to help...not sure if i should describe it here though!!!

Ha, yeah one of the lads suggested it alright.

But I dont do hospitals Tony, you would go in with a treble in your hand and come out with no legs !

When I was about 16 or 17 I was out on Brian's boat from Bangor on a mackeral trip. I was helping Brian with some of the "non-fishing" fisherfolk.

When I was unhooking a fish the plonker who I was helping was in such a rush to get fishing again that he dropped his 1lb weight over the edge and drove a size 1/0 hook into the tip of my middle finger on my left hand. Brian cut it out (he didn't want to ruin a perfectly good set of feathers by flattening the barb!). I still have the scar 25 years later.
Species List 2012 (Me) - Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Plaice, Codling, pollack, dab, SS Scorpion Fish, Ballan Wrasse, Codling.

Species List 2012 (Daniel) - Not got started yet :-(
