headed down to a rock mark ive not fished in a while but has always produced good fish as heading down there was a lot of activate in the water plenty of boats fishing down around the rock mark as we got down there there the tide was out a little bit so in the mean peeled the crabs any set up and for the first hour before ht we were getting s lot of small knock possible rockling as the area is covered in them then all was quiet and 1 hour after ht i saw one of my rods hop i just left it for a minute of 2 and relies i was after getting a slack line started reeling a felt a bit of weight on the rd though it was a doggy at first then the line just shot across made a run not the action of a doggy got him in and a nice looking fish he was deeped hook and had no other chose than to kill the fish it was put on the table so that is that. and diarmuid is still waiting to pop his bass cherry :

Well done on the bass Shane, I guess that is the mark where your rods once went for a swim?
