prices of powerpro?

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

#1 Post by Phil Wise »

This is a great site just started reading up on some of it in the past few weeks. GREAT service lads! how do i join the club?

Just found this site on yahoo. http://www.mactackle.com.

they have power pro at 27 euros.Too good to be true??? anybody buy this from them?

I don't use them anymore myself, all i do is beachcasting now, but they have the rapala J13s and all the other good lures there for 8 euros which i think is a good price compared to the local shops?? thought it might be useful to somebody?

are they recommended at all? mactackel i mean

for now, i'm off diggin a few rag for the beach tonight

whish me luck

I've already ordered a couple of things from Mactackle, they are very friendly and efficient. Would have no problems recommending them.

Power Pro is arguably the best braid, and it's a steal at 27 euro.

Is that for 300m spools or 100m. I have found http://www.henrystackleshop.com very cheap for it too

Just wondering about that actually cos I wanna buy some. Henry's seem to show it as €28 for 150m of 30lb. Whereas MacTackle show it as €27 for 300 yards, with no mention of different prices for each breaking strain. Might be worth giving them a call.

hi to the boards = again! i messed something up above

i've got powerpro from mactackle, 27 euro for all the their breaking strains

I had a look at the henry site but he's charging 50 for the 300 meter spools of the same braid. that about the average around. just shows what we are being ripped off by by the street shops

great to see a bit of competition at long last

and remember ITs Not just women that are slippery when wet...

good luck everybody
