fair play though not a bad result although it seems you werent in the exact right place...
maybe the next time we are down that way again you can bring us to the exact place
Gearoid can bring you to a nice clean spot like the point under Barrets house.
It's the ledge there that can kill ye. The bigger congers hit after two hours into the flood and aren't a huge distance out so heavy line is needed to counteract the rubbing esepecially if the weed pulls your line down. I bin my line after every session there after loosing a monster when with gearoid from reusing 25lb line two sessions in a row there.

I caught him a few weeks later donagh he was 25lbs lol lol!!
barrets is medium ground ill take em to coalhill lol. a crane will be better than a rod
