Greys BZe snapped !!

I was out fishing today, Two Rods one was a Bze 11.9 . I only used this rod a handfull of time's , Always with 2oz weights and i only use it for light near cast ! On my first cast today it snapped with very little power put into my cast just about half way up the 2'nd joint Has anybody had this problem ?
P.S. it was a Pen Mag that i had on it !

what kinde of joint is it is it a spigot or a push in

There is a lifetimes warranty on greys rods, just contact them they will replace the section for £35 I think

I think you have to register the rods with Greys to use the lifetime warranty.The £30 is to cover post and packing. I have the longer BZE's and never had any trouble with them yet, but there was a thread on another site about Greys rods snapping [url][/url]http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129384&highlight=greys+rods+snapping.
