Ok Melmore it is, meet at Carrigart town on the morning. Tanglerat I'll let you suggest a date that would be amenable to everyone.

I'll do it, barring fire, flood, natural disaster and Mrs Tanglerat having other ideas!

So we all go to mass on the Saturday evening then?

I'd be up for that although given the way the beaches up there have fished for me this year so far, I'm not too hopeful. Still, might have improved by then. Count me and my brother in.

Anyone know which beach they want to fish? If we can agree on that, I'll get a map from Letterkenny onwards sorted and posted. Tra Na Rossan has decent parking and a short walk onto the beach. Nice clean ground to fish on. Dogs can be a problem after dark though. Have had plaice, flounder, small turbot off it in the past.

Definetly be interested in trying Tra Na Rossan. Maybe even off the rocks on its western side, catch a bit deeper water there. Have had dogs, mackerel, pollock and gurnards there before.

Weather and wives permitting, Arse and I will try fishing Tra Na Rossan on Sunday Sept 04, 2005.

Tides are:

Sun 4 Sep
LW HW LW HW
01:17 07:40 13:25 19:50
3.6 m 3.7 m

I'll also jot down directions & GPS coordinates and get a map sorted detailing the route from Letterkenny.

Anyone want to join in? We'll probably try from low water up approx.

Will aim to be on the beach at about 12 midday, low water is about 13:30 so should get an hour or so either side of the turn. Will be leaving from say Mount Errigal hotel (letterkenny) car park at approx 11:00, if anyone needs a mobile number pm me or Sandman.
