Report:After 13 days of not fishing (as i was on holiday with any talk of fishing banned) i was to say the least keen to get out and bag a few fish.Tony as usual was up for the trip and i met foxy during the day by chance in Ballybrack and the talk of smoothies got him going so he said hed come along too.I picked up foxy and arrived to see Tonys van already there and secconds later got a call to say he had a nice sized smoothie so the gear was fired out of the jeep and we hurried down to the mark.Nearly straight away i got a hound about 4lbs or so and then foxy broke his smoothie pb with a fish about 4.5- 5lbs, Tony got a few more(6)
to add to his Growing collection and i too added to my account with 3 more ranging in size from 2 to 5 lbs.Both Tony and myself lost a couple of good fish, mine due to my mainline snapping as i pumped a fish that felt like a good one to shore.When i looked at the line it had obviously been rubbing off rocks so i think i will be using heavier line here in future. Dfella and his brother had arrived by this stage and try as they might they coulnt connect with a fish and we decided to call it a night around 12.Tony will post a few pics later that will explain the report title
