Report:four months since a shore session due to a back injury i was gaggin to get out and wet a line rang a couple mates and arranged an all nighter
picked up the bait from courtown sea angling (ta joe byrne)and headed to the mark, 1 sweaty hour later tents setup and ready to go.was hopin to catch a hound or bass as reports were good , wasnt to be tried me best for nearly 12 hours with dogs, dabs and pin whiting the only fish to play ball(dont these whiting know its july
)barney was first in with a dog followed with a dab and the same craic for all of us for the rest of the night and morning.i had crab out all night on my distance rod tryin for a hound no joy but good craic all the same with copiuos amounts of painkillers washed down with cider for me

and beer for the boys, most fish were caught in close on 2 up 1down rigs ,ive never seen dogs caught that close before, anyway brill nite cant wait to get out again but have to see a back specialist on wed fingers crossed he fix my back 
the doggies keep you on your toes alright. we love catching them. unlucky with the smuts, you'll get em next time
