good to finally meet you rab :D . that wee mark was unusually quiet yesterday :? :? . we must have fished it for near 9 hours and ended up with 8 dogs between us. but i'm still gutted about the big chap getting away     . i honestly thought i was gonna land him, so it made it even worse when he bent the hook out when he was only 12 foot in front of me. had to have been a conger thow, it's the only thing that could have bent that heavy hook out     . but i'd say it's only a matter of time before that mark produces a double figure huss   . jordan was winding me up all the way home saying it was a monster huss and not a conger,,,,..... IF ONLY!!!

If that is the same Co. Antrim mark I am thinking of (judging by the rocks) it usualy does turn up good fish. Between myself and two friends we have all had pollock to over 5lb and from what alanjordan mentioned about 'the big boy' we have had similar things happen to us. We are almost certain they are conger. Alanjordan- I can empathise with you as they a hard to land over that terrain. Some day tho........
