Report: Met vinny who i hadn't fished with in a while and decieded to head for a Clare rock mark to ease myself off the beaches of Wexford Wrasse and Pollack were the targets... set up one rod for bait fishing and spinning rods for lures and close in stuff... got a call from baitdigger who arrived later with some very lively fresh hard backs he just collected fair play Neil much obliged... straight away the wrasse were nailing our hard backs just couldn't connected with them fully... tried a float fished rag tight over the wrasse's heads...float went under had the fish on for a few seconds and somehow lost him baitdigger ledgered some rag and was getting good taps from the wrasse too... but they out witted us which was frustrating as we could actually see them below us... vinny meanwhile was quietly stocking up with plenty of fresh bait... there were tons of sandeel swimming along the shore lots of jelly fish too and a some passing dolphins gave us a bit of a display... going to try for some West Coast Bass tomorrow hopefully they'll play ball... nothing really worth photographing but at least the wrasse are there in numbers...

Still nice to pick up some mack's. They must be all over the west cause there does not seem to be many this side of the country. And don't even get me started about coalies
