#1 Post by craigo »

Hi all I will be down in Castletown Bere from September onwards and I will be bringing my fishing gear along with me , I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on where to fish , what species are knockin around , whats the best bait , state of tide etc . Any info would be much appreciated . Thanks .
If I'm not gonna catch a fish , I may aswell not catch a BIG fish !

I was there about 5 years ago with the fca, i didnt get too much fishing in but i did see some big mullet basking around where the ferry pulls in, and a friend of mine caught a big john dory at the other side of the island, infact there are some really nice looking spots on the other side of the island but you will have to trek down to them, good luck!
