People:JD, Al and myself
Duration:too long
Tide:rising to high
Weather:strong enough sidewind right to left
Bait:lug rag crab sandeel mackeral herring razor
Rigs:flappers and clipped
Results:20 odd flounder and 3 bass
Report:
headed south for a bit of fishing around the courtown area but with the placed stuffed full of people we decided to head to kilmuckridge for some peace. the sea was well stirred and despite a nice role on the beach it didn't look too fishy. put the buddies up and had a few chucks. we hit fish from the off but not in any numbers. with the weed and wind it wasn't a day for watching the rodtips with only the bass making themselves known. we had a friendly comp to try and spice things up and this added a little fun to the day especially when the bass showed and mixed things up a bit! approaching high it was possible to chuck one long and see if anything was about further out but 4 casts in with crab and eels produced nothing and it was time to go. best bass was 48cm and went to JD with best flounder 34cm.

Re: wexford beach
I think the annual raft race in aid of the RNLI was on, hence the numbers around courtown
