Duration:all day :shock:

Tide:all sorts....

Weather:windy,sunny,rainin

Bait:bread

Rigs:floats

Results:mullet




Report:I`ll keep this short cos im wrecked and i`ve to get up early again for a days boat fishing......

The day started off with just me.I arrived down at my chosen mark and straight away spotted a few fish,but not nearly as many as previous sessions here.I spent about 2.5hrs here and ended up with 2 mullet of 3.25lb and 4.65lb 8)
The 2nd fish,which is my biggest of the year so far,put up a great fight which lasted best part of 10mins :D
Everything went quiet after that and after a phone call from colin i packed up and headed for mark 2..

Mark 2 had plenty of nice fish but only 1 or 2 were taking bread.We fished here for nearly an hour but had no luck so we headed for mark 3....

Mark 3 also had plenty of mullet and they seemed to be feeding very well.It turned out to be very hard fishing even though we both had bites we never landed a single fish :(


great start to the day just a pity we couldn`t connect at the other 2 marks.....

nice one lads. havnt been mullet bashing for over a week now, so i am more than eager to get out again, i might give it a bash in strangford soon, havnt fished the lough lately for them, so might be worth a bash.

Well done on getting your two mullet.
I see you have over taken Colin in the number of mullet you have both caught this year :wink:
I just thought I would highlight that incase you hadn't noticed which I am sure you didn't (yeah right) :lol: :lol:
After you both had left yesterday K2 and I tried fishing one spot at 'Mark 3' but we had no joy. We had a couple of bites earlier on in the day but that was it.

Nice going Davy, glad to hear there is a few fish about even after the heavy rain, thought that may have slowed things down a bit. Keep your head up Colin, it's not a comp :wink: :mrgreen:
