People:Me

Duration:11.30 - 16.00

Tide:HT 15.00ish

Weather:Misty

Bait:Lure- Kilty

Rigs:

Results:3 Mackerel, 1 Pollock, 8 Whiting and 2 Codling.

Report: First time I ever got Whiting on a lure, all were about 17cm, also surprised to get a couple of Codling just under the 1lb mark. Water was a bit cloudy and rough with quite a breeze blowing.

There was too much weed to fish a top water lure so had to go close to the bottom, sink for a few seconds longer than normal then draw. A fella out walking his dog told me to go further down as he saw a lad catching a dogfish and I should try there

Nice one Ritchie, now doggies on artificials could be interesting, although I suppose they might take a sented soft plastic. :? I wonder how many species you could actually target on artificals?
