Berkley Gulp! Saltwater 6" White rag type thingy...

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Berkley Gulp! Saltwater 6" White rag type thingy...

Tried these at the weekend, spun on a 3/0 hook. Only thing the pollock would touch. They just followed and played with other lures. Problem was, they absolutely nailed these lures - darn near a forceps job to unhook two out of three pollock landed. Worth a try I'd say. I was using them at low tide/clear sky/dusk/water fairly clear/bit of a movement and scuff of wind on the surface.

I've been on the Berkley site - they seem to have every other product there bar the one I have! Darned if I can find a pic anywhere on the net. If I find a link, I'll post it.

Still can't get a pic of these anywhere on the net. But while they don't have a picture, this lot appear to carry the item...

They seem to be picking out fish on days when other lures are ignored. My da has been using these for a few weeks now and they seem to be the absolute business for pollock, spinning off the rocks.

I'm going to have to break down and take a pic of the packet myself and try posting it here.....

Ebay.

Try going to http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 7165342645

or doing a search on ebay.co.uk for the following number: 7165342645

That might bring up an image of the item.
