unusual wrasse??
Just got this in a text msg from Fishface , fishing in Wicklow Harbour. Anybody caught anything like this lately?

Species '20 (14) 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Codling, Whiting, Pollock, Coalfish, Pouting, Corkwing Wrasse ,Ballan Wrasse, Poor Cod, Dab ,Smoothhound,Flounder, Thornback Ray

just a ballan eyes, seen a few that colour before off dalkey, nice markings all the same, those fish are the master are fancy dress.

i think it was green with envy that it did not manage to swallow the bait like all the others did
with friends like mine ----who needs enemies
