Antrim coast session

Myself and wee bro

4pm till late

in coming tide

Dry conditions, blustery at times

Bait: Mackeral, Sandeels, Squid

Rigs: 1 up 1 down's

Results: 1 LSD, 2 flounder, 2 pollock, 2 coalie




First rock mark produced a dogfish which the wee bro landed :evil: on a big chunk of mackeral. Still waiting for the high tide, we moved on up the coast in search of some new marks and before checking out some "unfishable" spots, we hit waterfoot beach in search of some flounder-1 fluke landed amidst the masses of rotten seaweed being hauled in :!: We ended our trip at cushendunn beach with a couple of nice pollock and coalies, Up to 30cm :)
Highlight of the day was definitely seeing a sea otter hunt for flatties about 40m from us!! :o
