waterford 28th JUNE

#1 Post by theshoreking »

People: Me n 2 mates

Duration: 6hrs

Tide:lw around half 2 i think

Weather:wind n rain

Bait:flies

Rigs:

Results:19 bass to 6 r 7lbs (mostly released)

Report:

Great session despite the conditions. Didnt mind the rain and had a bit of shelter. Once again weed became a problem. Saw quite a bit of bait (sprats) about. Anyway, nailed em on intermediate line and clousers. Unfortunately i hooked and lost wot was surely a double. Was too wet for pics but took a pic of the ones we kept wen we got back. Must upload it tomorrow

Yeah,

weed was a real problem at times. You'd get into a spot and your fly would be coming in clean and you'd be gettin takes. Then the dirt would drift into the gully and forget it. Move on and same thing. Heres a pic of the sprats gettin bashed that I managed to get very quick before the digital camera would get wet and ruined.
