smoot hounds at poolbeg 3-7-09

People:a few friends of mine but not me

Duration:7pm-11pm

Tide:hw 10.05pm

Weather:great

Bait:lug

Rigs:2 hooks 1 up 1 down

Results:4 smooth hound 4 pollock 2 wrass




Report:only writeing this for a few friends of mine so i dont know much of what happened only there were a few hounds and pollock got the pollock were on feathers and the hounds on lug the biggest being 5.5 lb and the others being around the 4lb mark

nice fish lads i fished there last year quite a bit without too much joy, you would want a truck load of rigs n weights as it can be a graveyard, but i think i check it out again, well done again

well done lads good old spot for macks ,never gone bait fishing cos i,m too lazey to carry all my gear that far :? you deserved a few decent fish for the walk alone 8) 8)
