[b]Results countless coalies
[b]Report we started of at malin head and we had fish on every cast. but they were all very small coalies at just about 1/4lb, the rods at distance never got a knock at all. in the distance i could see the gulls going mad diveing in steady at the mackerel, but they kept their distance from the shore
and as our bait was quicky running out i was hopeing for a few mac's, but no joy they kept well out of casting range. so we got fed up getting/feeding these coalies 
and moved on to redcastle pier for the last couple of hours of the rise, we fished it hard up to the flood but got nothing only a few small taps on the distance rods, close in rods were hammered every time with crabs.
