People:Me

Duration:2 to 4

Tide:Dropping

Weather:Dry light wind

Bait:rag

Rigs:Mini rig

Results:Ballen Wrasse,Corkwing wrasse, Tompot blenney, Pollock, and 1 tiny coalie

Report:Last minute session as weather cleared up went down to the tackle shop for the seccond time today and got some rag.Got fish from the start, mostly small but i nice pollock about 3\4 of a pound and a nice ballen wrasse over a pound id say that gave a great scrap on the ultra light gear i was using.Started loosing rigs in the rocks and switched to a freelined rag on a size 6 hook but could only manage tiny pollock and i tiny coalie but great craic all the same.Sorry no pics as Tony wasnt with me and my camera on my phone is crap.

Dont mind him sod   , was down there again yesterday meself and the sport is great on light gear, plenty of small fish with the chance of a few decent ones, saw another double of tub gurnards taken also. Great seeing all the action unfold under you as the pollock chase the small fry. I saw one chase them, then break away and take my rag, then head into the weed. Also saw a wrasse bullying the pollock away from my bait , then saw the way they approach and take the bait without being hooked, theyre no eejits and the smaller the hooks the better   . You probably caught one of these
