87 Anglers fished the annual Action Cancer shore competition at Whitehead last night (Tues 16th ). Although a bit early for cod, decent sized fish were few and far between. John Sloan won the adult section with a doggie of 25". Scott Burns won the juniors with a doggie of 24".
Big thanks to Davie Reid and his team for organising the competition and local shopkeepers etc for contributing prizes.
Total raised was £524.
