got down there early why i dont know as ive been down there loads chasing bass and i dont think theres any there,never ever seen any there either just taking advice from other (anglers)??? nothing but lsd everywhere and the only thing i caught on lures were large launce which i even put on a float and fished it round decent rocks but not a sausage, when i was climbing up the cliffs to go home i noticed loads of makerel on the top of the water, (and no the bass werent chasing them either!)they were chasing sand eel cause i even tried plugs and lures between them so i put the feathers on and got a load hit after hit and they were huge fat horse makerel,i dont know if its worth fishing that place at night? should have took my diving gear down there and i couldve looked for myself, the blokes that are catching here are getting them from kish i think or doing a 50hour week on the water as ive never seen one bass down there or being caught, there was a bloke beside me at roney point this morning and he got the maggot even before i did, think the best idea is to go to dungarven or chuck the fishing gear in the liffey
