American Fishing Wire

#1 Post by Tomaszek »

Hi guys,
Some weeks ago I was looking for a place to buy AFW wire and other bits and pieces like swivels, sleeves, etc. Unfortunately it wasn’t easy to get them. Shops like Veals got only few items from AWF – usually only wire. Even in US it wasn’t easy to find internet shop that will sell all AWF products. BassPro doesn’t have them at all. Cabelas, again, only few bits from AFW range. (example: they got 275 lb 49s wire but they doesn't have thin walled sleeves for it). Same story with others like Tackle Direct and so on.

I was almost about to post on forum to ask whether some of ye guys know reliable place to buy AFW stuff. But finally I found this South Creek Shop. Today I received package with all my AFW stuff. :)

So I’m sharing info about that shop with you, if you like to try AWF tackle components and wonder where to buy them. I would recommend this shop, as prices are OK and postage was pretty quick as it took only 5 working days. I guess that’s not bad for overseas postage – Bass Pro is much worse on that as it usually takes at least 2 weeks to get parcel from them. On top of that, package was labelled as "gift" which means that I do not have to pay tax, since wire and other tackle is relatively cheap and (at least in my case) was worth below €50

If you know any other shops where you can buy complete range of AWF tackle, please post in here.

PS
I’m not trying to advertise anyone's business here. I just want to share info with you because I think someone may find it handy.
Tommy
