Want to add weight to my spinners/plugs for more casting distance, should I add one or two drilled bullets?
Just above the swivel? Or will that effect presentation? Any tips welcome, Thanks

i dont do a whole lot of spinning, but when i do i always add a bullet above the swivel for extra distance if needed, and have not seen any problem with the presentation of the lure...good luck.

Re: Adding weight to spinners
It sounds obvious but why not try a heavier spinner or even small jigs instead of adding a weight?

i find adding a weight just gives it more chance of tangling on cast .... i would agree maybe try a heavier spinner

Try lighter or lower breaking strain line on your reel.

Re: Adding weight to spinners
add a few turns of lead wire to your spinner's body or to the treble, try to keep it in balance, works a treat whenever you need a bit more distance or want to spin deeper, never tangles your line.
