W Waterford, 27/6/09

#1 Post by Stan »

People: Me in afternoon, with 2 others in evening

Duration: 14.45-16.40 and 20.30-22.30

Tide:20.30

Weather:fantastic

Bait:Lures

Rigs:

Results:7 Bass

Report:Was working in Dungarvan on Sat morning. By strange coincidence I had my spinning gear in the car.

The temptation to get out in the water suddenly overcame me and out I went in the waders. No fish at first but several follows.

Then just before the tide turned I had several savage attacks on the Shallow Feed. Managed to land 3 and lose even more :D . Then my reel packed in  . Met Seanie who also had 4 bass.

Back home for dinner and brought out 2 friends. Billy had no bass this year and I assured him that he would be successful :D . First cast he had a small one on a Kilty. Then I had 3 and lost at least 5 more :D .

4 lads were using bait but kept catching mountains of weed. We actually waded out past the weed.

Guess where I'm going this Friday!!!!!!! :D
