Haven't fished in a long time and have forgotten how to set up the self made rig I used to use, mainly because I would let the aul lad set it up. I would use the line for the whole rig, wouldn't use swivels, beads or crimps. I'm not sure on the correct terminology so bare with me.
I think it was a paternoster set up, with knots being used to separate the main line from the hooks. This is where im having my problem, i cant remember what type of knots they are. When I try to do them the line with the hooks will either wrap around the other line or when the line is pulled the knots will come undone.
So, does anyone know what i'm talking about or did the aul lad just improvise?
Thanks

Re: Question about Rigs
Sounds like it was a cut blood loop, better methods available now.

Re: Question about Rigs
