Shannon Estuary 21/06/09

Time:13:00-17.15 Hrs

High:at 15:30ish

Bait:Lug,Mack,Sandeel

Wind:Slight wsw

Report:
Not a lot to report lad's really apart from one Flounder,and all the rest of the time
it was just crabs cleaning the hook's bare,i got the flounder around high tide,
sorry cant seem to drag photo into pictures,as i took it with my phone because i forgot the camera,i managed to get the photo of the flounder on hopefully.

We were at the Estuary fishing last week as well. I didn't post that session though there were four of us and we got more than 70 crabs... we all took them home and cooked in coconut milk (yum yum)... hoping to diminish their numbers... they are like rodents they multiply a lot... We got a few whiting and dabs on that session but cannot beat the number of crabs we were reeling in.

Nice one on the flounder... we'll get lucky there soon. :D :D :D

Oh Lad's it was that bad,that i had to change rigs twice as the little b******ds
cut through my snoods,oh happy days.

well at least you had something to show for it all

was at a comp few weeks back and the spider crabs were cutting the snoods - at one stage i had 3 hooks gone in 3 casts

and i still ended up blanking

I'm glad you only got one because it mean's the rest of the fish there wont be hook shy when i turn up with the secret weapon :) :wink:
