Haven't been down there fishing for years but......from memory.... try Baginbun Point - Mackeral, Pollock, Wrasse from the seaward side of the point. But beware, the owners of the Houses/Tower at the top of the cliff can be a bit bolshie, so make your way around the rocks from the beach. Head around to the Hook and fish off the rocks below the lighthouse or go to Slade Harbour and fish there. The beach running east from Kilmore Quay can be good.

Nice one, will give that a go.

Danny : Really anything. Will be bringing a guy fishing who has never fished before while our other halves talk wedding..!
:-)

Im sure i'll be trying for a bass or two but he'd be happy to catch anything.
Will have tripod and a few rods so will lash out a few baits to see whats about.

Any ideas would be great though..!

Il send you on a couple quality marks for deep spining for pollock, and bait fishing for Wrasse which will be easy to fish for your mate.

Nice one Danny.
Think the main beach they live near could be called Tra Ban..?

I don't know what that beach is like to fish off but the lads from Fethard used to throw a cracking beach party there every Good Friday night. If you find a phone I lost there about 10 years ago give me a shout

Thats Mad. I would have thought a shallow beach with some rocks close by to an estuary would be a killer place for a bass. Would love to try a popper over to the right.

When did you fish it..?
