Results: dogs, dogs, and more dogs, small starry smut, and some nice dabs
Report: Arrived down Thurs evening didn't get fishing till late enough hit one of my regular haunts with juicey lug razor and some crab in hope of smuts and Bass... there was a good run of dogs including 3 on a pennel rig one poor fella had lasooed himelf had to cut the rig as he was going purple held him in the water for a bit not a bother on him hard as nails you gotta luv em... no Bass showed strangely enough and just one small (baby) starry shouldn't be much longer be for the big uns start showing off this mark...
Fri headed out from Courtown onboard Mick Redmonds boat "Puffin" : see boat reports.... had planned on hitting another mark down South after but got a call from an old pal and went for pints instead...
Sat did a bit of reccy Saturday afternoon on a couple of marks i plan on fishing when i'm over next weekend.... Later that evening i tried a very inaccessible location in South Wicklow bit of mountaineering involved i've seen plenty of bait fish and Bass at this spot previously gave it a few hours here dogs and some nice dabs then moved to another spot back in Wexford that i don't usually bother fishing more dogs here but that was about it.... enjoyed the trip over and a couple of marks tagged for next weekend
