People:myselt, dennis, alan and brin, stan joined us for 2 sessions

Duration: thur./monday.1 pollock and 8 bass sessions (3 blankes)

Tide: H.& L.Waters

Weather:cool and windy until sunday then bright sunshine light onshore wind

Bait:lures and peeler

Rigs:

Results:abou 20tpollock and100 odd bass to over 7lb.,about 30 on poppers 2 on crab the rest on feed shallows. we lost as many again and missed lots mostly on poppers. stan hook and lost 3 in same cast! we kept 5 for the pot 8)

the fishing 8) :
all in all not a bad few days fishin, sometimes unbeliveable good an bad :? today was perfect warm water,bright blue skys, light onshore breeze, terns wheeling and diveing, sandeels everywere an nice sized bass slaming the lure every few casts.

rodger i havent tryed for the bream yet, mite give it a go tomorrow, bit hooked on da bass at the mo. :) theres huge numbers of g.g.s aboutany idea on how to catch em?

Super fishing down your way Art, as per usual 8) . West Waterford certainly holds a huge stock of bass :D .

you could try a mepps take off the hook and add three inches of 10 lb and a 4 hook 3 small rag headhooked sink and draw em :?:

Great report Art. Went out last night to Killiney. Conditions were perfect..... but nobody told the bass!!! It can be very hard work to get a good bass around Dublin.

Guess I will have to go to Ardmore again this weekend. It is killing me being stuck in the office, looking out the window and feeling that I should be fishing.

By the way the popper Denis was using is a Skitter Pop, I think.

Tight lines and leave a few for me.

Excellent I suppose the DVD is next or a book or a film or a documentary. ( The Bass Man Of Dungarven).

Hi Cortaz. I've been posted your name as a contact from WFF re bass fishing in Dungarven by Jim from Cork and I hope you can help. I'm going to be in Dungarven for 10 days from the 1st July and was hopeing to get some bass/salmon fishing in - any advise or help apprieciated.
