north down mullet 16/6/09

#1 Post by colin c »

People:me and two others

Duration:a couple of hours

Tide:up and over

Weather:breezy and overcast

Bait:bread

Rigs:float

Results:2 mullet

Headed to the mark that me and Davy got a couple of fish on Sunday. Not many fish about today but had a few taking bread.First cast i had a fish of about 1lb that fought like mad then about half an hour later i had one maybe around the 3 1/2lb mark then it all went quiet.
Happy enough with that.Another couple up on Davy.   8)

No photos today again as we had waded out too far.

My third fish was.
The batteries went dead on the scales before it was weighed but even Davy admitted it was a specimen :D :D :D
Not worried about catching or claiming them though, just love the fight out of mullet.

Davy Davy Davy.
There is no need to be like that.
Everyone knows its no fun for you because you are soooooo far behind.
Look mate i wont fish for a while so you can get out there and TRYto catch a couple of mullet.
Cant say fairer than that.
Or i could keep fishing and let you get your photo taken with some of my fish
