Any help with bass needed
Hi, basically if been out on a few trips for bass with a friend of mine. Went last night and a few times before closed season with no luck. Basically I can't see what I'm doing wrong but am thinking I'm using the wrong spots. So far i have tried surface plugs, lures and ragworm with no luck . Any techniques or bass spots would be greatly appreciated

So far have tried a few spots around Red Rock, Sutton in Dublin and two spots at Dollymount. Not too sure of many other bass marks in Dublin.

not to worry though i usually catch in them areas a bit later on in summer. and a few of them areas can produce a good few takes in 1 session

Re: Any help with Bass needed
head out some night when you reckon the conditions are right and bring all different types of bait. the beach i usually fish will only get Bass on razor, all other baits are pretty useless here for some reason and theres lug beds on the same beach. before i figured this out i was lobbing out big lugs, crab and rag with nothing working. all i bring now in razor unless i want to try for a few flatties. where your fishing might be a bit like this so trial and error might be the way to got for you. it took me about 6 or 7 months to get my first one but it was worth the wait so keep at it.
best of luck.

find a rocky mark with weed not too deep, that floods on on incoming tide...get up at early be there for first light 4-4.30am at the moment...
fish shallow diving plugs...look for bird/baitfish activity ....
I find the morning better than evening but your area may be different...
Good luck!
