hi all,back again.
just wanting some info.
after watching a program on tv about gobbins cliff,me and the gf,s dad decided to have a run down to ballystrudder ( i think) to see if we could find it.
after searching for what seemed like ages we eventually found it,and searched for a decent spot to fish and scoped the place out.
what i want to know is this.
the tide for thursday 18th (next week) is around 3.4,we are not exactly sure how far the tide is gonna come up the cliff as there are bits lower than others,we intend to fish off a lower rocky point just before u get to bridge that is in disrepair,as we havent fished that before are we safe there or are we going to have to go higher up the cliff face? we dont want to get trapped by the high tide and have to sit it out and wait till the next low tide.
has anybody off this site fished that area? and if so whats mostly being caught there?
has anyone got any reccomendations as to what rigs to use?
and finally (sorry for so many questions)
the layby off the road there,is the car safe as there is no streetlighting up there?
gobbins cliff.

wyse,s eye?? is that the arch that you walk through before entering the path on the cliff face?
the rocky bay i think we walked across that to get to the first lot of steps, so if that fills up are we stranded on the cliff face until low tide?
sorry about the questions but im new to the area (from england) and still getting familiar with places.
thankyou for all replies.
