Re: Mullet in Howth
Hi Ian I've heard there is some out there on the far side of the pier. I'm heading out this morning to have a look and drop some bread about. I plan to do this for a few mornings this week. The tide is ebbing now so not sure what to expect. I've had a few goes else where but no luck so far. It would be great to have some luck in Howth as its only a short drive for me.

Have seen them there myself, The thing that would worry me is getting them feeding and the seal's showing up and spooking them.

Re: Mullet in Howth
Spent an hour looking around last night and saw a few fish. I did not see any big shoals although was told by a few lads they'd seen them. I went to the slip and put down a nice stinky bucket of bait but could not hang around. I had my 2 year old with me and it was not the safest spot to be!
I'll go back out later today and do the same. I hope then to try fish for them Wednesday or Thursday.
