Cahore 11/6/09

#1 Post by bigstyle »

People:Me and My Dad

Duration:9:30 - 5:30

Tide:HW @ 1:00ish

Weather:Sunny, South east breeze that strenghtened as the day went on

Bait:Macks

Rigs:Animal rigs and feathers

Results:Macks, 1 ray 10lb, 4 tope to 35lb,

Report:We launched and headed south for Macks. Got some fairly quickly so anchored up we were picking enough up all day for bait. 1st drop we picked up a ray but fishing was quiet other than that. Decided after the slack to head out a couple of miles and further south. We picked up 4 tope and had 3 missed ones. One straighened a clip swivel. It was a big fish. Wind picked up so we headed in a bit earlier than we would have liked only to have the day ruined by this. Click here

Not really. I was getting what looked like doggie bites then bites went so i said i better check the bait. I lifted the rod and stuck just in case and the was a heavy weight the other end. It came in easy enough.
