C.R.A.P. Full stop mate. tried it before lazy lug ,rag etc. keep your money its a total let down. even berkley gulp is brutal dont know how they get away with saying it outfishes live/fresh bait. how they still sell that c**p is beyond me. but someone has to be buying it

I don't know about fish but I'm sure that it catches the odd angler alright I don't really see the point of these things tbh, why not just keep some frozen bait in the freezer?

I've a bunch of them myself but I use them for spinning for pollock and I find them great for that, I don't think I'd feel too confident fishing them static though.

Tried the preserved sandeel a few years ago and over several sessions it produced not one fish, while frozen sandeel was catching on another rod. Same with that crab rubbish.

Re: preserved bait , rag , sandeels etc
the likes of gulp are best used on a boat for predatory specsies, consider them as lures with scent, they will stand up to more abuse than fresh bait when gilling for pollock or the like,a frsh rag as good a bait as it is lasts 1 hit and thats it. gulp on the shore fished static wouldn't do much for my confidence id rather avoid going fishing. dont get me started on laz lug
