ballycastle

#1 Post by carp angler »

people: me and alan

location: ballycastle beach/pans rock

date: 7 june 09

duration: 1am - 11.30am

tide: low to high to low

went to ballycastle for a spot of beach fishing, i blanked on the beach, alan got a dogfish and a flatfish, very small :D
moved onto pans rock at daybreak, i got my first ever dog fish (2 off) and again my first ever bearded rockling (2 off) followed by about 5 or 6 pollack and a wrasse (red). . .i cant actually remember what alan got, few doggies, wrasse, the wee flat fish and maybe some pollack(ya need to remind me of our catch alan). . .unfortunately as we were both up all day the previous day and had no sleep, my mind is a bit blurry. . .lovely sunrise over mull of kintyre tho

ps. how do ya get the species count on your profile?

To edit your profile in anyway, click the "user control panel" button at the top right handside of the page.

Then click the "profile" button, then click "edit signature", this will allow you to put a message(signature) at the bottom of any reports you make, posts etc. Finally save it. Job done.

Hope this makes sense.

Oh, and welldone on getting a few fish
