your pollock is not far from your line the way those species are landing!

No, it has to be in the water
,,,, small bait on a small hook just a couple of yds off the pier on the bottom. Weed growing along the wall so watch you dont get caught, ropes from pots also. I usually lose a couple of rigs so you just have to be prepared to suffer some losses Species '20 (14) 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Codling, Whiting, Pollock, Coalfish, Pouting, Corkwing Wrasse ,Ballan Wrasse, Poor Cod, Dab ,Smoothhound,Flounder, Thornback Ray
