Well Lads
I'm wondering about fishing in foynes co. limerick.
I know the pier is off limits. What about the little bit of ground just beside the pier on the Tarbert side?
Between the pier and the yacht club.
Does this give you access to the deep water?
Are you allowed fish there?
Has anyone in here fished there?
Any advise? spieces?
Thanks
Trouble.

Re: Foynes?
Fish between the two channel markers just up from the harbour. ye have to cut through the forest to get to it but its only a short walk and best to fish it on a low tide cause ye could get cut off on the high water. fished it 3 or 4 weeks ago and only managed one ray but the ray might be on it by now.

Re: Foynes?
ye just follow the road around ye can park up handy enough at the top of the hill. theres loads of trees that make up the forest ye cant miss it there is a walk way in the forest when your on it stay to the right the trail will bring you to a little pic nic table then when ye get there just jump down onto the shore line and keep on going to the right there are to big channel markers fish between them and ye will be in the deep water. its pretty snaggy so ye might need to use heavy gear and a pulley.
