this is 1 trip i,ll never forget
headed down towards Gorey on a beautiful summers morn with high hopes of a good days fishing, that of course until I got to the slip road from gorey by-pass down towards courtown and my fecking gear box went
Stuck in 4th gear I crawled down towards the slip only to be met by a fecking crane blocking the road as they ehere moving a mobile home which incidentely was now comg behind me.
unable to move and a lot of
f&B out of my at the assholes on the road for not blocking traffic my boat was now wedged in between a crane my broken down jeep and a mobile home

locky for me Screeming was onhand to tow me down to the slip and fair play martin for all your help.
we got Basshunter launched and headed off my 1st stop was to try for a herring but blanked which on this day didn,t surprise me.
anchored up and started to haul in dog after dog but then the huss came out to play yippee a bit of luck at last.
as the tide dropped we moved about to keep with a bit of tide and I luckly hooked into a nice tope on my uptider and enjoyed the battle with him.

A few photo,s and released him for some one to hook into soon.
As the tide eased so did the fishing I tried hard for a ray but to no avail, as I had arranged to meet a mechanic at 6 on the slip that Sean had arranged for I headed in and low be hold a local with a tractor wsa launching a boat so I begged him to help a fellow man in destress he gladly assested me in recovering the boat from the water.
Seirt came down from dundalk and took me and the boat home and on Monday sean meself will go down for the fecking jeep.
So hows that for a nice day fishing????
