it was a tackle graveyard rab    . that's why we dropped down to rigs made with just one hook, a 3 way swivel and a lead. tried to keep the loss to a minimum. next time we fish that mark i'll try a pulley rig nailed out to the horizon from the beachcaster, but from the satelite images, ariel photography and sea charts of that area, i'd say any clean ground would be at least 150 yards out   a bit beyond my casting ability, but worth a try none the less :D . we'll no doubt bump into eachother at some stage in the summer as we seem to fish some of the same marks, so until then, tight lines. Al.

cheers stephen, we would'nt have all these reports to put if it was'nt for the site and all the members who have helped, guided and advised us along the way. it seems hard to believe tha 3 summers ago we could'nt have told you the difference between a pollack, whiting or coalie       and now there's no stopping us     i always try to post good clear pics of what we catch on our trips for the reports. when we first started out the most difficult thing was to identify what the heck it was that we were catching. our pics might not be specimens but if it helps someone out, then job done in my mind :P and now that i've figured out how to upload vids too it will become a regular feature with our reports :D :D . only problem is that it takes 3 to 4 hours to upload a 5 min clip onto youtube, but it's worth it to see the smile on jordan's face when he's showing people his vids    only problem is that i now spend more time with a camcorder and digital camera in my hands than my fishing rod
