Hi, Out of dunmore today to run in new engines, had a fish on the way andf picked up ten species, ( Including a good few cod (ling)Donal :) :) )
Cod
Whiting
Pollock
Dab
LSD
Ballen Wrasse
Cuckoo Wrasse
Ling
Poor Cod
Pouting

just one thing that tub gurnard looks very red :shock:

slight hint of blue but not quite orange enough could it be a dodgey red :wink:

Hi, Yes another person has said the same, it was identified by two others onboard as a tub, but as you can see from the tompot and the larger red gurnard, for some reason my camera appears to redden photos, hence with also the poor quality of the picture i am getting a new camera, the back of the fish was the red/brown of a tub, but i agree that the fin colour was weak in the picture
Will not give out if deemed a red by the moderator :D

yeah not much of the blue can be seen in the photo but you can see a small bite witch would comfirm it as a tub.

Tadpole fish ! My first so nice to get one,
only way to catch them , 5/0 hook with full side of mackeral

i caught it right in its mouth while fishin for mini's on a size 8 ! so does it count ??

Trip to cork 13th may 2009,
brutal fishing due to east wind, will never go out in an easterly again, it really is a waste of fuel.
only bonus on the day was a nice little bass, caught on crab flowing trace
