Waterfoot beach 31/7/05

Duration:8pm to 11.30pm

Tide:High water just after 9

Weather:Dry with light NE wind

Bait:Ragworm, Lugworm, Mackerel and Sandeels.

Rigs:Tried everything from single hook clip down at range to 3 hook flappers.

Results:2 Flounder, 3 Plaice, 1 Dab, Codling and a Coalfish.


Report:Not a bad night, originally wanted to fish Glenarm beach but it was choked with weed. Waterfoot beach much better with the only weed in the surf. Surprised by the lack of Doggies after dark.

No mate, not great size at all. But good to see them all the same.

Thanks for the invite but working so would not have time to get sorted. Might take a run up in the car and see how you are getting on though. What time you going to be there to?
