Sprat any use?

Are sprat any good for fishing anything? Lifted a net full of them and stuck them in the freezer? Any ideas?

wobble them for bass and pollack maybe? i've used them for pike, with good success

Try them as a livebait on a long flowing trace off a drifting boat for big bass catches, a quality substitute for launce.

heard of frozen sprat being useful for flatfish. only reason it's not used much is that it's not always in the tackleshop!!

Problem is they turn to absolute mush when they are defrosted.
Excellent when wobbled for pike though...

ive used them whole on the boat for spurdog with some sucess, tend to pick out the bigger fish.tried them on shore for conger with no sucess
