People/ me and drummer

Duration/ 3hours

Tide/ dropping

Weather/ sunny then rain

Bait/ spinners

Results/ me about 14 fish / drummer 0 :oops:

decided to hit dalkey to see if ther was any pollock about or even a few mac.. got to the spot wher we had a lot of decent fish last year on the spinning gear.. first 2 hours wher bad wit only 1 fish taking the spinner felt like a bit of a Idiot after tellin drummer tat u could nearly get a fish a cast from this spot.. but sure enough in the last hour the fish must have came on the feed with about 10 pollock and 4 whiting before we packed up.. oh yeah whiting on the spinner was a new one for me. :)

Well done lads, not bad considering the rubbish weather etc. Where was the mark? I'd appreciate a pm so I could give it a try with the spinners.

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.

well done turner, i fish as much coast as possible and get good, bad, and unreportable results!
good for you today. i think the first two hours(great that you stuck it out) reflects that tides and times make a difference when fishing.
pm's for fishing marks....... same sesults s**t at 7pm,2pm,11pm or 8am!
try the tides, weather etc,!!!
not being odd or anything!
check out cortaz at predictable fishing,,,, interesting,,
species 2009, whiting :(, three beard rockling,.shore rockling, 5 beard rockling, flounder, lesser spotted dogfish,bullhuss, dab,bass(13), more whiting : pollock,poorcod,pouting, sea trout(the dodder!)brown trout,sea scorpion,mackerel, silver eel,
topknot:), cod, conger, corkwing wrasse,smooth hound.
