hi all
wondering how i could get the anti reverse working in this reel again?
any advice on how to start - where to look
usually when i open up a reel it spontaneously combusts and goes quietly into "that box" which is full of spent reels that i dont seem to throw out for some reason
thanks

i would say some sand and dirt got onto the little spring that returns the the anti-reverse it can be quite tricky to free this out and you might need some specialst help you can give me a shout if you want.

Re: okuma axeon reel
Wash reel thourghly. Then gently tap the side of the reel. sometimes you can free the mechanism and lossen any grit thats blocking it.
If that dosent work you can take the spool off then the winding part. This will give enough access to clean into the anti reverse mechanism.
