got a couple of days off this week and im thinking about headin down to mayo, just wondering were would be the best place to stay within reach off some good fishing.

you could go around the belmullet area, blacksod is supposed to be decent, there is hotel called strand hotel,and theres few b&b,s in american street, have a good one anyway,

weather not great till thurs,all high tides are daytime around the westport area so i would advise deep water marks like the currean area past mulleranny,mackerel have been caught in the mulleranny area,enniscrone beach is supposed to be fishing well for seatrout and flats at the moment,and if you want doggies or huss lecanvey pier is your spot after dark!
